Originally a joint venture between Gale and The Rockefeller Group, The Green at Florham Park, NJ is a 270-acre mixed use master planned development which includes a practice site for the New York Jets professional football team, age restricted housing, a luxury hotel, and a class-A office complex. Gale served as the owner and developer until Mack-Cali Realty Corporation acquired the project with the acquisition of The Gale Company in 2006.

The New Jersey Sports & Exposition Authority acquired 27 acres for $19 million for the new headquarters and training facility of the New York Jets professional football team. And Marriott International  acquired 12 acres for $15 million to build a 250 room hotel with a 70,000 square foot fitness center. The Green also contains 830,000 SF of class-A office space designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox, and the K. Hovnanian companies planned 100 acres for 400 active adult residential units.
