Ibis Golf and Country Club is a 1,923-acre master planned community featuring three golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus Sr., Jack Nicklaus Jr., and Steve Nicklaus. In addition to club amenities such as a fitness facility, pool, spa, tennis courts, and practice facility, Ibis contains a 33 residential neighborhoods with 1,808 housing units.

In 1996, Gale was initially engaged as a manager for the project. Gale later acquired the property with an institutional partner and sold off parcels to realize its equity investment. In 2003, Kitson & Partners (the successor to Gale Wentworth & Dillon) acquired the project with Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds as its institutional partner and completed it in 2006.
