In February 2009, Gale International entered into an agreement with the Changsha Municipal People’s Government of Hunan Province and served as the Master Planner/Developer for the Meixi Lake District, a state-of-the-art, new ecological city located on 1,675 acres in Changsha, the capital city of Hunan Province.

Gale International worked with Kohn Pedersen Fox to conduct a market and feasibility analysis, develop a master plan and infrastructure design, and create business planning and development phasing. The plan is currently under development by the Changsha Municipal Government.
