The Thinking City
BBC Focus, the esteemed science and technology magazine of the BBC, the world's preeminent media empire and news source, features the four-page article, which is entirely about Songdo, "The Thinking City," in the first issue of 2012.
The article, written by well known technology guru Charles Arthur, includes a cover line. "The Thinking City," describes the features and technologies that make Songdo International Business District stand out as the most sustainable, connected, inventive and exciting city in the world.
Songdo IBD is described as, "The most high tech place on the planet," with features including Cisco's TelePresence. Songdo is lauded as a solution to the effects of urbanization through technologies that allow the capability to react to its residents and environment. Several renderings of Songdo IBD are shown.
