"Korea's Songdo IBD is Model for Sustainable, High-Tech Living," details the history of the building of Songdo in addition to the status of projects in the city. Songdo is portrayed as a technologically advanced, ubiquitous and eco-friendly aerotropolis.

Songdo IBD is referred to as a "technopolis" with the infusion of artificial intelligence and next-generation networks that are managed by a master grid, making it a "new age," innovative city. Cisco's TelePresence is highlighted as an example of such. Songdo's sustainability is exemplified through a description of LEED certified projects and technologies such as the pneumatic waste collection system. Tom Murcott of Gale International, James Von Klemperer of KPF and Cisco's Anil Menon are quoted throughout the article. Images of NEATT, Convensia, Chadwick School and Central Park are shown.
