Company History

The Gale family's involvement in real estate dates back to 1922 when Stan Gale's grandfather founded a residential real estate company based in Long Island, New York.  With real estate in his veins, Stan Gale built The Gale Company into a diversified real estate enterprise including investment and development activities, property management, leasing, global facility management and construction. Prior to selling these property and facility management businesses to Mack-Cali Realty Corporation in 2006, The Gale Company was managing approximately 60 million square feet of real estate around the world.

The Gale brand has stood for excellence in the real estate sector since 1922.

Gale International was established in 1999 when Stan Gale joined forces with John B. Hynes, III, a leader in Boston real estate development whose own grandfather led the urban revitalization of Boston 50 years ago as Mayor of the City of Boston.  The partnership resulted in almost instant success.
